Hi Izumi and all
Thanks for posting this again--the deadline is coming up I know...
I am sorry but I was not able to make it to Geneve for PrepCom3...a late visa
made me decide it was not worth the expense to go for less than a week...I am
monitoring though the various lists of CS (Plenary, igovernance, working
methods, bureau, and follow-up...whew...) Though it is difficult, and I am a
little behind when our connectivity went down last weekend, I am trying to keep
up.)
Aside from the Japanese colleagues, I know of a few other Asians there:
- NOrbert Klein (Cambodia via Germany :-)
- Partha of Bytes for All (BDesh)
- Parminder of IT for Change (India)
- Jac Kee of APC WNSP (Malaysia)
- Adam of Glocom (Japan)
I actually don't know if anyone was sitting in the CS Bureau to represent the
Asia Family...
With regards to Summit attendance--yes I do plan to be there, assuming I can
secure funding...
Good luck in the last few days there
Al Alegre
