Dear all
As some of you know there is an ongoing meeting of the
WSIS Working Group on Internet Governance (WGIG) in
Geneva. *(See www.wgig.org) . It is the third (?) and
last face to face meeting before they finalize a report
to be submitted to PrepCom3 of WSIS in September.
In the interest of transparency, there is a (almost)
real time transcription of the meeting. From Karen Banks
of our mother org, APC, who is in the meeting as a
member of WGIG, here are the latest links. (Also posted
to the wsis plenary list and Internet governance list;
apologies if you get this more than once)

afternoon session will

There was among others an intervention by Shahid Aktar
of UNDP APDIP, on the recommendations of the Open
Regional Dialogue for Internet Governance.
There is also an intervention by ICANN head honcho Paul
Twomey (with his take on national governments, CCtlds
and redelegations)...
There is also an intervention by Izumi Aizu reporting on
the problems of civil society participation in the
lamented Tehran WSIS Asia Confrence (there are a few
typos)...
Interesting stuff...
