Dear everyone,

The 3rd PrepCom opened yesterday and the discussions focused on paragraphs 1-11
14 of the Declaration.

I am attaching here the civil society draft language which we submitted to the
governments'sub-committee on content and themes. It's in a table format which
makes it easy to compare the current draft language and what we, in civil
society are proposing.

Three civil society caucuses--namely gender (as represented by the NGO Gender
Strategies Working Group), human rights and Latin America made their
interventions yesterday. I will send the three statements in a separate cover.

Cheers,

Mavic
