Dear Paola

Thank you for sending us the document for publication and your hard work in
compiling this information. We do support the idea of having an information
material published for the benefit of the general public.

First of all, here are the corrections to the text of the Asia Pacific
Family:

===================
Asia and Pacific

Coordinating organization :
Foundation for Media Alternatives (FMA)/Association for Progressive
Communications (APC) in behalf of the Asia and Pacific NGO Coordinating
Committee on WSIS (AP NGO CCW) .

Contacts: Alan G. Alegre, (alalegre@fma.ph), Angela Kuga Thas
(amkt@apcwomen.org).
Website: www.wsisasia.org (being updated).

(Will it be helpful to also put the mailing list?:
communication@wsisasia.org

===================

Secondly, and on a more substantial note:

I am a bit surprised why the Regional Families are not described as
completely as were the other families. I do not recall this being discussed,
and in fact the format of the information sheet we recieved was presumably
the same for all.

It occurs to me that this presentation (i.e., complete info for the other
families, only contact info for the regional families) gives an impression
that the regional families are "less" than the others. Though I cannot speak
for all the regional families, I can assure you that the Asia/pacific family
is one of the largest and more active families in the CSB structure, both in
the regional and global levels. I feel obligated to raise this as some
people from our region may react negatively.

Was there a decision on this? By whom? What is the basis for this?

Thanks and am hoping for some explanation on this that I may forward to our
own members.

Regards
Al Alegre
