The Paris=20
intersessional finished this afternoon with a new draft Declaration and =
a report=20
on the meetings on the Plan of Action. Governments met this morning (18 =
July) on=20
the Plan of Action, receiving general comments on the whole document. =
The chair=20
produced a report on the discussion on the plan of action at this point, =
including a list of "feasible actions" which some governments have =
requested=20
[DT-7]. A new version of the Draft Declaration of Principles was =
released in the=20
afternoon [DT-4 (rev.3)]. A new version of the Action Plan will be =
released on=20
the web on 23=20
August.
Civil=20
society reports on all the official intersessional sessions are =
available at http://www.prepcom.net/wsis. In=20
addition, please find numerous reports, statements and proposals from =
civil=20
society. We will continue to update prepcom.net/wsis with documents over =
the=20
next weeks, so keep sending us your papers and proposals.
