CIVIL SOCIETY REPORT = ON=20 OFFICIAL WSIS INTERSESSIONAL MEETINGS
16 July = 2003


Summary:=20 Governments resumed discussion of the draft declaration of principles, = beginning=20 with para 19, completing this discussion of the Draft Declaration of = Principles=20 today. Most of the main contentious issues were referred to sub-groups, = chaired=20 by specific governments, who will be meeting tonight to try and reach = consensus.=20 Meanwhile, the chair and the secretariat staff are drafting the new = version of=20 the Draft Declaration to be presented sometime tomorrow or Friday. = Tomorrow=20 morning, delegations will begin discussions of the Draft Plan of = Action.....=20
