1. Information Sessions on the WSIS preparatory=20
process
The Permenant Mission of Greece in Geneva, through =
the=20
intermediary of the CSD / WSIS Executive Secretariat, is inviting the CS =
Bureau=20
at an information session on the involvement and state of play of =
European Union=20
Member States in the Summit preparatory process. This session will =
be held=20
in Geneva (Council Secretariat, 2 Chemin Louis Dunant) on Monday 23 June =
at=20
10:30.
This timing was set in order to target the same =
audience=20
expected to participate in the information session to be organised by =
the=20
President of the Prepcom, Mr. Samassekou, at 15:00 on the same day. =
This=20
latter session was originally intended for the UN Permanent Missions in =
Geneva,=20
however, Mr. Samassekou has expressed the wish to see civil society=20
participation. Civil society entities who have the possibility to =
attend=20
both information sessions (EU at 10:30 and WSIS at 15:00) next Monday 23 =
June=20
are very welcome to do so.

intergovernmental Bureau, the Executive Secretariat is preparing a =

document which will integrate all contributions under the format agreed =
