We would like to share the following information with you: =20
1. Information Sessions on the WSIS preparatory process
The Permenant Mission of Greece in Geneva, through the intermediary of =
the CSD / WSIS Executive Secretariat, is inviting the CS Bureau at an =
information session on the involvement and state of play of European =
Union Member States in the Summit preparatory process. This session =
will be held in Geneva (Council Secretariat, 2 Chemin Louis Dunant) on =
Monday 23 June at 10:30. =20
This timing was set in order to target the same audience expected to =
participate in the information session to be organised by the President =
of the Prepcom, Mr. Samassekou, at 15:00 on the same day. This latter =
session was originally intended for the UN Permanent Missions in Geneva, =
however, Mr. Samassekou has expressed the wish to see civil society =
participation. Civil society entities who have the possibility to =
attend both information sessions (EU at 10:30 and WSIS at 15:00) next =
Monday 23 June are very welcome to do so.
2. Civil Society Contributions
The list of all contributions received, including from civil society is =
awailable on www.wsis.org. At the request of the intergovernmental =
Bureau, the Executive Secretariat is preparing a reference document =
which will integrate all contributions under the format agreed at =
Prepcom2. The final document will be posted on the official WSIS =
website as of 3 July 2003..
3. Next CS Bureau Meeting
The following Bureau members will attend the next CS Bureau meeting in =
