Thanks Vervy! Gaurab ususally answers from the road but I can understand if he 
is busy. Gaurab, just send me waht you have and I'll edit it a bit...

The meeting held in Manila was really just a caucus, where people levelled off 
a lot of things and tried to have a common understanding about the complicated 
process. It was helpful in that sense, and a face-to-face meeting always builds 
up community camaraderie. Things have moved since then...and we were very 
conscious that no formal decisions be made there--instead, it should be done 
online through this list. So don't worry about the highlights folks, it will 
come, but it is not too urgent in my view....

P.S. Am glad you were able to get to Manila (twice) before the SARS crisis in 
you country and worldwide worsened...
