Hello all
Greetings of peace and solidarity in these troubling times...
Just got this now. (See below) This is an urgent call for comments on the CS
FAcility Fund concept paper.
I recall Angela (our rep in the CS Bureau during the PrepCom2 second week)
had sent the first drafts with the comments of the Finance working group of
which she was a part of about a month or so ago. I therefore assume that
everyone fully knows about this.
Since there is some urgency for the comments (as stated below), can you send
me and Angela (address above) all your comments so we may collate them by
tomorrow (Thursday evening) and send it at the latest Friday morning. (Pls
copy furnish your comments on this list so people will know what they are.)
In case there will be conflicting comments, I will try to synthesize them on
the list for a quick referendum; or if there is no decision, my suggestion
will be to leave the original draft as is. (Any objections?)
Again, if we do not participate, we default. Which is OK, as long as we
don't complain about it later... :-)
regards
Al
P.S. Since this list has been a bit silent for some time, may I remind
everyone again of my last post where I asked for nominations for a formal
liaison/rep of our Asian family to the CSB. I am particularly awaiting
nominations/suggestions from some colleagues on this list who were insistent
that the election of Angela and myself in Geneva was only for PrepCom2.
