Dear Asian participants,

I have just heard the speech of Miss Salibazi, representing civil society
group
in sub-committee 2. As a whole, her speech seems to cover the whole
emphasis
points on the part of vision and principles.

Then, one quick question!
I heard that she emphasized the importance of human rights framework in
dealing
with information and communication society. But the communication rights,
which has been one of central concerns up to now within civil society
community
seems to be not so appropriately underlined. Could you explain why her
speech
was so? Is there some change of strategy or shift of attitude to this
issue?
Thank you in advance!

Regards,

Chun Eung Hwi
