Please see note below of Robert Guerra to the CS Coord Group list. Might be
a good idea to monitor this development.
I personally feel that any interaction tools for stakeholders off site is
better than nothing...
Should it materialize, maybe those interested can immediately liase with
their GDLN local node (typically c/o the local World Bank office) so we can
list down possible Asian remote centers we can organize along these lines.
By the same token, I think ADB has a similar facility and Susan McGee--who
some of us met in Tokyo, would I imagine be open to this.
(I know that some of us may be uncomfortable with working with WB or
ADB....it's just a suggestion. I prefer to think of it as a....tactical
engagement....or to paraphrase an NGO colleague: its staking a claim on use
of the people's money anyway! :-)
