I forgot to tell you - that Joint Statement from Asic Civil Society Forum
to WSIS was accepted as official input to Tokyo conference and given
a slot for "Statement" on Jan 14.
I sent that on behalf of the drafters, now replaced by the signatories,
and would like to find someone as our "representative" to take the
floor and read it.
However, the time given is strictcly 4 minutes, therefore we need
to ask that rep to summarize it.
I think it would be appropriate to ask one of the drafters, below, to
present this,
and eitherr Al Alegre, Jamez Gomez or Satcha Jotisalikom would be best.
(Izumi will be on the first day panel and member of drafting committee,
Jaba is the
rappoteour for the NGO panel, and PatchA is also on the panel and will make
his own statement from Jimbonet, I guess).
We can decide when we meet in the plenary tomorrow, but please consider
this now, especially those who are not physically in Tokyo.
