I also agree with Chat's suggestions. I have made other suggestions to the
communication@wsisasia list but since some of you may not be in it yet, I
will reproduce my points in another message later. (Apologies to those who

I THINK EVERYONE WHO IS ORGANIZING SIDE EVENTS (GENDER, YOUTH, COMMUNICATION
RIGHTS, ETC.) SHOULD COORDINATE WITH ALL THEIR SCHEDULES--DATES AND
TIMES--BECAUSE I AGREE THERE SHOULD BE A SPACE AND TIME WHICH EVERYONE
(MEANING NGO'S) SHOULD ATTEND AS A SORT OF NGO "PLENARY" SIMILAR TO WHAT
HAPPENED IN PREP COM 1.
WE WANT THAT WE BE SUPPORTIVE OF ALL SIDE EVENTS AND ALL SIDE EVENTS
ORGANIZERS AND PARTICIPANTS ALSO SEE THE IMPORTANCE OF CONVENING AS ONE.
CHAT'S SUGGESTION OF 8-10 AM IS FINE. AN ALTERNATIVE ONE IS WE HOLD THESE
SESSIONS DAILY, MAYBE TOWARDS THE END OF THE DAY (E.G. 5-7 PM ON DEC. 11 AND
12 AT LEAST.) I BELIEVE IZUMI AND ADAM WERE LOOKING AT THE POSSIBILITY OF
RESERVING A ROOM FOR THIS AT UN UNIVERSITY.
(I DO NOT KNOW THE POSSIBILITIES DURING THE FORMAL SESSIONS ITSELF, 13-15
DECEMBER, BUT I IMAGINE WE ALSO HAVE TO FIND SOME SPACE TO MEET, EITHER
BEFORE THE SESSIONS IN THE MORNING OR AFTER.
