Dear Toshi and all other Japanese NGO Friends,

thanks for putting together this program rich in important content. I have
put it onto my time-table, but I am still waiting for the clearance of my
ticketing by the UNDP office in Cambodia.

From our struggle about the international (UNICODE/ISO) standardization of
the Khmer script on computers I am especially interested in:

> *English domination and exclusion from decision making

A friend of mine in UK is preparing - at their institute - a workshop on
"The politics of encoding" as such probems affect obviously more language groups
which are not using European/Latin/Roman scripts, especially if they are
small countries which do not have economic power.
