Dear Sirs,

On behalf of the signatories who gathered at the Asia Civil Society
Forum organized by CONGO (Conference Of NGOs in consultatitive
relationship with UN) and agreed to become the signatories for the joint
statement, I hereby submit the statement we adopted.

The "Drafters" at the bottom of the statement will be replaced
by the list of signatories, which will be in due course shortly, but in
the interest of time, I will send the main statement now and send
the signatory list later.

I hope this will contribute to both to the Tokyo conference and the
whole preparatory process of the WSIS.
